Regular Membership
For executives currently employed
- Indeterminate Executives
Open to indeterminate executives in EX or EX-equivalent positions, indeterminate executives in unique classification systems, deputy ministers, and full-time Governor in Council appointees across the Public Service of Canada. Please refer to eligible classifications below.
- Acting Executives
Individuals who have been acting in an executive-level position for six months or more, or who are acting for a duration of one year or more can also become an APEX member.
- Newly Appointed Executives
New executives get a free APEX membership for the first year following their appointment.

Associate Membership
For retired executives
- Former Federal Public Service Executives
Former federal public service executives are eligible to join APEX as associate members. As an associate member, you enjoy full access to the same services, resources, events and benefits provided to regular members.

• Library of Parliament, LEX-01 to LEX-05
• Medical Officer, MD-MOF 4 and 5
